CONSCIOUS CAPITALISM: FOSTERING CONSCIOUS LEADERS WITH RAJ SISODIA
Can a business maximize profits and have people that are more fulfilled, productive and happy?
In this episode, Raj dives into the principles of Conscious Capitalism, a new way to look at businesses. While traditional businesses focus on profits to benefit shareholders even if there are “side effects” that negatively affect others, Conscious Capitalism offers a different philosophy. Any business can apply it and operate so it’s better for people, the planet, our communities, and also be more successful.
Given recent events in Charlottesville and other places, we also explore the current need for Conscious Leaders, and what it takes to become one!
You need to listen to this episode if you want to learn:
- Why conscious capitalism can change the way we look at business.
- How to create a work environment where people are not only productive, also happy & fulfilled.
- Why companies should rethink traditional “side effects” and focus on positive effects.
- What defines a Conscious Leader.
- …And SO MUCH MORE!
AHA Moments:
- Business is not just about profit. It can create meaning, purpose, happiness & fulfillment.
- A company can be very profitable at the same time and create a climate of trust, fun and caring.
- Not being profitable is socially irresponsible.
- Conscious leaders have past self-actualization and now reached self-transcendence. They are in service of the collective self (organizations and society).
